How a ShopBite project works
Before
Free consultation
30 minutes by video or phone. We look at your restaurant, your menu and how orders come in today, and tell you honestly whether ShopBite fits.
- Whether ShopBite fits your restaurant, yes or no
- Which package makes sense
- Rough timeline and fixed price
Your part: Nothing to prepare, just tell us how things work today.
Week 1
Kickoff and material
After the order we collect everything the shop needs and settle the design.
- Import the menu with prices, extras and sides, from PDF, Word or directly from your Lieferando page
- Agree on logo, photos and colours, choose a design template
- Define delivery area, delivery fees, minimum order value and opening hours
Your part: Send menu, logo, photos and opening hours. One hour for questions.
Week 2
Test shop
The shop is live on a test address. You click through, place test orders and tell us what should change.
- Menu in the shop, with all extras and options
- Design adapted to your branding
- First feedback round, corrections
Your part: Check the menu in the test shop. Report prices, spellings, missing dishes.
Week 3
Receipt printer, payment, domain
Now it gets real. The printer is in the kitchen, payment methods are set up, the domain points to the shop.
- Set up the receipt printer and print test orders from the kitchen
- Activate payment methods, cash or additionally PayPal, Stripe, card payment
- Move the domain or set up a new one, add legal notice and privacy policy
Your part: Access to the domain and details for the legal notice. Who on your team looks after the printer day to day.
Week 4
Training and go-live
Your team learns to run the shop, then it goes live. We celebrate the first real order together.
- Training on site or by video, maintain menu, opening hours, holidays and vouchers yourself
- Go-live and support on the first evening
- Stickers, flyers and Google listing with the link to the shop so regulars find the way
Your part: Two hours for the training and brief the team for the first evening.
What we need from you
You probably have all of this already. The earlier it arrives, the faster it goes.
- Menu with prices, extras, sides and allergens, ideally as PDF or a link to Lieferando
- Logo as a file, ideally SVG or PNG with transparent background
- Photos of dishes and the restaurant, if available
- Delivery area, delivery fees and minimum order value
- Opening hours, closing days, holidays
- Details for legal notice and privacy policy
- Receipt printer model, if you have one, otherwise we recommend one
- Access to your domain or the desired name for a new one
And afterwards
- Support according to the package, three or six months, directly with the developer and not with a hotline
- 30-day money-back guarantee from go-live
- Updates of the open-source components as a maintenance contract on request
- You can keep running the shop yourself at any time or have a developer or agency of your choice look after it
The four weeks are a guideline from the project so far. A large menu or a custom design can take longer, and we tell you beforehand.
